Useful Information for Planning Purposes
Reservations & Deposits
Submitting an inquiry does not reserve your date. Once we confirm availability and event details, a 20% non-refundable deposit secures your reservation.

Private experiences can be hosted at Canvas & Company or at your location. Select your preferred option on the inquiry form so we can provide the correct pricing and requirements.
If you're interested in bringing Canvas & Company to another location, there are two different ways we can work together:
Private Mobile Experience — The host pays. Their guests attend.
We bring a private Canvas & Company experience to your location for your invited group. The organization, company, venue, or individual booking the experience is responsible for the event cost.
Think employee team building, birthdays, resident events, nonprofit programs, client appreciation, or private gatherings.
One host. One invoice. Private guest list.
Pop-Up Experience — Attendees purchase their own tickets.
A pop-up is a partnership between Canvas & Company and a venue or community partner. We schedule a public Canvas & Company experience at your location, and individual attendees purchase their own tickets to participate.
Rather than the venue paying for the entire experience, Canvas & Company and the partner create an opportunity for guests and the surrounding community to participate.

Guest Count
Provide your best estimate when submitting your inquiry. Changes in attendance may affect pricing, materials, staffing, capacity, or event setup.
Hosting at Canvas & Company
A $125 Cleaning, Prep & Studio Care Fee applies to private studio bookings.
Additional early access for decorating, food setup, or other preparations may be purchased in advance, subject to availability.
Outside food and beverages are welcome for eligible events, and BYOB is available for guests 21+. Events requiring additional food-service space, supplies, or setup may require a $125 Food Service Setup Fee.
Bringing Canvas & Company to You
Private Mobile Experiences are $65 per guest with a 12-guest minimum, plus a $205 Mobile Event Fee.
We require access to your venue approximately 1.5 hours before the event for setup.
Your location should provide appropriate tables and seating, reasonable loading and unloading access, and a clear sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, as music is part of the Canvas & Company experience.
Event Timing
Please use your confirmed event start time on invitations and event materials. Additional event time or early access must be arranged in advance.
Selling Your Own Tickets?
If you are producing the event and selling your own tickets or charging admission, Studio Rental is generally the better fit rather than a Private Creative Experience or Canvas & Company Pop-Up.
